Miska heavy duty coverplate joints are specially designed for a high level of pedestrian traffic, for heavy vehicles and for use in carparks and loading areas. The primary advantage of this type of joint, is that it will accommodate a high degree of horizontal, transverse and vertical joint movement while maintaining a gap-free, smooth transition from one floor slab to another. The joint is installed level with the surrounding floor finish and designed for maximum in-service operation with high wear resistance, high corrosion resistance and minimal maintenance. Available with a 5mm Stainless Steel coverplate. Designed to AS/NZS 1170.1. |

RDS - Heavy Duty Joint for Concrete Slabs
The Miska RDS Joint was developed to provide a properly engineered and purpose driven solution for heavy duty applications such as warehouse floors. A concrete floor requiring an RDS Joint will require concrete strength of at least 40mPa, which is the minimum strength specified in AS3600 for floors subject to non pneumatic tyred traffic.
